The “Rear-End Slob Job” continues. It’s bad enough that our present Commander-in-Chief has seen fit to kiss up to our deadliest enemies, but it’s even worse when a so-called Christian pastor would dare parrot the line many have foolishly stated for years: Muslims and Christians worship the same God. They just worship differently. In my book, this is all just an effort to appease the anger Muslims have against the Christian faith by “showing them love.” Of course, the supporters of Islam are more than willing to love you back with a bomb, bullet, knife…take your pick. Pastor Rick Warren is just one of many of so-called “Christian” leaders who are willing to marry Christian principles with Islam to form the mutated beast of “Chrislam”. Not surprisingly, Mr Warren would deny such charges, but he and those who think like him are unwitting supporters of this idea. Follow this link:
I, for one, am against this all-inclusive “love” gospel that looks in the other direction away from one’s sins to walk in “love” and not offend anyone:
Open rebuke is better than secret love. (Proverbs 27:5)
Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)
I would like to ask Rick Warren and those who think like him if they have ever read the above Bible verses.
Anyway, this marriage of beliefs serves no purpose but to water down the beliefs of both faiths, especially Christianity, as the Muslims believe in the “convert or die” option. As Christians, we should never compromise our beliefs with anyone. We are commanded to love others (even those who don’t share our beliefs), but never to compromise as Jesus never compromised with anyone and neither should we.
I’m going to step out on a tangent here. There are those who believe Christians in this country want to impose their beliefs on the rest of their fellow citizens and, therefore, in the words of the great Rosie O’Donnel “fundamental Christians are as dangerous as fundamental Muslims.” However, who gets the greater reprimand, the Christians or the Muslims? In public schools, Christian children are forbidden to talk about Jesus, say grace over their food, or recite the Ten Commandments. On the other hand, Muslim children can dress in traditional garb, bring their Qurans, and even have mats on which they can pray to Mecca however many times a day. I even heard of some schools that assigned their students to dress like Muslims and to carry a Quran. On top of this, the children were even encouraged to pretend to start a jihad!
I don’t remember Christians rioting in the streets, setting fires, causing mayhem and vandalism because someone burned a Bible or said something negative about Jesus. I’ve never heard anyone cry “Death to the enemies of Jesus!” because they encountered a non-Christian. Christians are encouraged to walk in love:
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:44-45)
If you come across a person who calls himself a Christian and doesn’t walk in the above-quoted principle, then that person AIN’T NO CHRISTIAN (please excuse the ebonics). I don’t care how many scriptures he quotes, if he attends church 24/7, or how many times he says “Jesus!” A person’s confession needs to be backed up with corresponding action. In other words, I hear you talking about Jesus, but are you actually living for Jesus?
Case in point, there are people that would bring up the tragic history of the Inquisition and use it as an example of Christian coercion. Many will say that this was an example of Christians forcing their beliefs on others, since the aggressors were Roman Catholic. Guess what? I know I’m going to offend a lot of folks but Roman Catholics are not Christians! I won’t go into detail here, but compare Catholic doctrine with biblical doctrine and you will see major differences between the two. The Catholics may have a Christian veneer, so to speak, but their doctrines are far from it:
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (Titus 3:5)
They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. (John 16:2)
I really believe the devil (Satan) uses false Christians to make real Christians look foolish and hypocritical, being the master deceiver that he is. Moreover, while he has us focused on accusing Christians of evil works and hypocrisy, our attention is diverted from the real evil, Islam. Of course, the devil isn’t going to go after the evil folks; he’s going after the pure in heart. There’s an old saying that states if the devil isn’t bothering you, it is a good sign you are walking with him. This is why he is also known as “the accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10). Moreover, do not think that I am just making some random accusation against the Catholic Church because, alas, I used to be a part of it.
Now, when it comes to Islam, evil definitely reigns supreme. I’m not saying everyone who’s a Muslim is necessarily evil, but the religion itself is intolerant of others, which is an accusation that is usually directed at Christians. Many people feel as if evangelical Christians want to turn the United States into a theocracy while ignoring the fact that practically every Muslim country is a theocracy. A true born-again, Bible-believing Christian doesn’t feel the need to impose his beliefs on others. However, Muslim law is intolerant of other beliefs as a visit to any Muslim-run country will open one’s eyes to this fact. If you don’t hold to Muslim beliefs, the penalty of a high tax is imposed upon you, you are persecuted, imprisoned, or even threatened with execution, all in an effort to get you to convert to Islam.
Many people believe the word islam means peace; however, this is an error in meaning as it means to submit. The Quran even states that initially one is given the option to convert to Islam voluntarily. If the subject doesn’t convert, conversion becomes compulsory – or else! I can go on and on about Sharia law, Muslim treatment of women, jihad, etc. Does this sound like a religion of peace to you? Now, I’m not saying that all Muslims are terrorists waiting around every corner with bombs strapped to their chests ready to blast you to smithereens. However, in recent years, the vast majority of terrorists have been Muslim and there is no escaping this fact.
So, if Muslims and Christians worship the same God, show me an example to this notion. Once again, when I say Christian, I’m not talking about a mere church-goer but a person who actually lives the principles stated in the Bible. Give me an example where Christians have declared wars on nations of infidels; show me where people were imprisoned because they didn’t want to follow Jesus; give me an example where a Christian has strapped bombs to themselves to murder innocent unbelievers. You wouldn’t find one example because true Christians do not commit such atrocities, even though our liberal buddies would have you think otherwise. The reason we have Freedom of Religion in this country is because of Christianity and now the powers that be want to see an end to it.
Jesus was the ultimate example of what a Christian’s life should be. A careful study of Jesus life will give one an understanding that if one doesn’t follow His example, that person is not a Christian.
So, Rick Warren and the rest of you “Slob Job” preachers, stop trying to patronize the Muslims to try to get them to like you. In their eyes, you are an infidel, worthy of death simply because you are not a Muslim. They may go along with you for a while, but when the time is right, they will have you annihilated.
Once again: If someone pulls down their pants to show you their big, shiny mound of round and tells you to kiss it, don’t put your lips on it – put your foot in it!
Have a good day and I’ll see you on the rebound.
