Conservatism: Oppressive?

Isn’t it funny that the liberals like to place conservatives in this country and oppressive dictators in other countries into the same pot? Oppressive leaders of other countries HATE the conservatives in this country and they have more in common with the liberals than with conservatives. I guess the libs don’t understand that worldwide the word “conservative” is a relative term. They think they are proving their point of believing US conservatives are “oppressive” by comparing them to murderous leaders and then throw out the line “These dictators are conservative.” However, that is all they can say because they don’t have the facts to back up their claims. I am different, though, and now I would like to take the time to give my liberal friends a lesson on Conservative/dictatorship 101 and see if their claims against the conservatives have a toenail to stand on.

Okay, first off, I’m going to ask a question and give you several choices to choose for the correct answer. Okay? Are you ready? I know you liberals tend to drown in a sea of knowledge and have a hard time swimming across an ocean of facts, so try your best to keep your head above the surface and keep stroking and kicking. Oh, yes, one other thing – the ocean of facts is infested with truth sharks and if one of those start tracking you, let’s just say you’re going to be in serious trouble. Answers are revealed at the bottom.

Let’s begin…ahem!

c. The Duke Blue Devils

d. Conservatives

Okay, pencils down! Let me say that if you answered “Liberal” to every question, you are a genius. If you missed just one question, you are a fruit bat! If you missed more than one…sigh! SMH!

The liberals in this country are the main ones who want to impose oppressive regulations, population controls, exorbitant taxes (you know, just to be “fair”), regulations on what you shall eat, laws against religion, laws against gun ownership, rights to property, and so forth and so on. In other words, it sounds to me that they have way more in common with oppressive dictatorships than do conservatives. So if you consider yourself a liberal and you want to compare someone to a fanatical dictator, I would advise you to take a trip to your bathroom, turn on the light, and point to the image staring back at you from the mirror. In this way, all the fingers will point to the right person. When you’re finished, take a seat on the nearby commode because I doubt if your bowels will be able to tolerate it. Moreover, you’ll be feeding your toilet the same thing you feed everyone else – a load of…(Transmission terminated!)

You all have a good day and I’ll see you on the rebound.
